The Inspiration: OK, we couldn't help ourselves. Keep reading, and you will understand what we mean. Blame that formative Art History course. And all that post modern literature in college. 'This is not a Pipe' is the title of a painting by Rene Magritte, painted in the 1930s. It shows a very realistic looking pipe and under it are the words "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" or This is Not a Pipe, i.e., it's a picture not a thing. Wow, heavy! And very cool too. Get it?
